Workout of the Week 1/24/2021
Happy Sunday!! It's time for another Workout of the Week and I am excited to do this one tomorrow. I am freezing my butt off in Germany so I will be doing this one inside, but if you are comfortable in the cold or are in a warmer place by all means please go outside to enjoy it.
I have one last week of work before I will pretty much just be focusing on getting ready for our move and hopefully working from home full time. So be on the lookout next month for new content and updates! Granted everything right now is depending on the lockdown.
But let's get into this workout. For today you will need just some space. I will use a yoga mat for this workout.
Movements
First there are Push-ups. For these start in the plank position and go down so your chest touches the ground and then push all the way back up. Keep your back straight and try not to worm your way back up.
Next, is a 400 m Run. For this, you can do it in several different ways. You can go to a track, or run on a treadmill, or measure off 200 m and run there and back.
Workout of the Week
3 Rounds for Time
- 30 Push-ups
- 400 m Run
Scaling options would be to do the push-ups on your knees or against a wall or box. If you can run you can walk or row if you have access to it.
Don't let the three rounds fool you, that is 90 push-ups. You will be sore after this one.
