How I Transformed My Body in 24 Days with AdvoCare

Back in February, I did a 24 day Jumpstart program from AdvoCare to get me back to where I needed to be. The holidays were over, I had already been working out in January regularly and given up sodas. This Jumpstart program was my next step and the results that I got from it simply blew me away. To be honest I just got back from a stay-cation and will be starting this program again June 4th.

The AdvoCare Program:

So the program is AdvoCare’s 24 Day Jumpstart program that is the first part of their One/80 Program. The One/80 program is 180 days and is broken down into 3 parts and can be purchased separately or all together. I just purchased the 24 Day Jumpstart.Within the 24 days, there are two phases: The Cleanse phase (10 days) and The Max phase (14 days). The cleanse phase is made to cleanse your system of any bad things you have been ingesting. In the max phase, you continue to eat right and start to gain some energy.

The Workouts:

So my workouts vary every time. I am an avid CrossFitter. I am not great but I love it and it definitely pushes me and I am seeing improvements so that makes me happy. So I go to CrossFit regularly Monday, Wednesday, and Friday every week for these 24 days. While I always go 3 days a week, I wanted it to be consistent for the challenge. Also, I would try to do an at-home workout on Saturday, whether it was run or a quick workout I could do while my son napped. No weights were used on the Saturday workouts.

Food:

Let me preface this by saying I am an extremely picky eater. As previously stated I had already given up drinking sodas in January and kept that up in February. I also stopped eating fast food for the first 10 days of the cleanse phase and only had a salad or sub during the max phases.During the cleanse phase I had oatmeal or a bagel for breakfast with fruit. During the Max phase, I had the Meal replacement shake. I brought a snack and usually a SmartOnes frozen meal for lunch during the week while at work. Dinner was different every day and I didn’t do a very good job of tracking it daily, but I can tell you that I started tracking my macros and paid more attention to them.

Goal:

My goal of doing this challenge was to lower my body fat percentage and lose a few pounds. I didn’t really need to lose a lot of weight and I don’t like to keep track of pounds as much as body fat percentage.Since I am 5’10” and my weight is considered board line overweight for my height but most people wouldn’t agree by looking at me and I don’t want people to have a misrepresentation of what good health is. Another goal was just to lose a few inches.I wanted to really just focus on getting my muscle back and getting rid of some fat in places I didn’t want it. So I measured theses goals by using me to track my weight and body fat and my Apple Watch to track my activity. I also measured my chest, waist, hips, leg, and arm to determine how many inches I lost.

Before and After:

As you can tell from my before and after pictures I had some amazing results. I want to stress that this isn’t a huge change in actual weight loss. Some of my friends that have done this challenge have lost a lot more weight than I have but they also had the weight to lose. Also, I didn’t have a lot of weight to lose. The difference in my before and after pictures are about 4 lbs. My body fat percentage changed by 2% which is awesome! And I lost 4 inches in total! But the biggest thing for me was the way my body looked and the way I felt. I could lift more and run longer and faster. My clothes fit better.Whether you need to lose a few pounds or a lot I would definitely recommend this challenge to help get you started. I still use a lot of the products in my daily life as well just to help maintain my body now. Again I am starting over after my stay-cation and hopefully, I will see even better results!Disclaimer: I am a distributor for AdvoCare products and do get paid for purchases made through my shop. The results of this challenge are real and I did this before I wanted to become a distributor.
